Thomas Vitale is a software engineer with a focus on building cloud native solutions, currently working at Systematic in Denmark. He is the author of the “Cloud Native Spring in Action” and "Developer Experience on Kubernetes" books (Manning Publications) and plays an active role in the cloud native ecosystem as a Java Champion, CNCF Ambassador, Oracle ACE Pro, and Testcontainers Community Champion.

Some of his main interests and focus areas are Java, GraalVM, Spring Boot, Generative AI, and cloud native technologies in general. Thomas supports continuous delivery practices and believes in a collaboration culture aimed at working together to deliver value to users, customers, and businesses. Thomas contributes to various open-source projects in the Java and cloud-native space, including Spring AI, LangChain4j, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Carvel, Dapr, and Buildpacks. He is also passionate about sharing his expertise with the community through talks, workshops, and writing on technical topics.
