Niels de Bruijn works as Business Unit Manager at Hyand and is responsible for Low-Code, starting with the product selection up to implementation work with a clear focus on Oracle APEX. Since its inception in 2004, Niels and his team have delivered hundreds of applications using Oracle APEX. Niels shares his knowledge through the websites apex.hyand.com/knowledgebase.hyand.com and by speaking at events such as DOAG conference, APEX connect, APEX World and Kscope. One of his major achievements at DOAG is the launch of the yearly APEX connect conference, where he is active as conference chairman. His activity in the APEX community and engagement with product management, led him to his designation as Oracle ACE Director early 2016. Niels is also the inventor of Flows for APEX, an open-source extension for APEX with which you can model and run BPMN2-compliant business processes (see flowsforapex.org).
