<p>Mihaela Gheorghe-Roman is an experienced Software Architect with over 14 years of building complex enterprise applications, mainly in the defence and telecom domains. She currently works as a Software Architect at Systematic Romania, focusing on full-stack solutions in the defence sector, using modern architectures with microservices and microfrontends. Her core technologies include Java, Spring Boot, Scala, and Angular, complemented by experience in C and C#.</p>
<p>She holds a Ph.D. in artificial neural network algorithms and has conducted research in the field of intelligent systems. In parallel, she is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cybernetics and Informatics in Bucharest.</p>
<p>Mihaela is also an active contributor to the tech community - writing technical articles about Java and full-stack development, and speaking at various conferences and meetups.</p>
<p>Outside of work, she loves traveling, running marathons, practicing martial arts, doing aerobic training, and and enjoys spending time with her parrots.</p>
