Dennis Kolpatzki is a Database Administrator at DEICHMANN SE, Europe’s largest shoe retailer.
With nearly a decade of experience in Oracle Database administration, Dennis started his Oracle journey back in 2016 in the healthcare IT sector, working with clinical and radiology (X-ray) systems.

His early focus on reliability and performance led him to develop an RMAN-based migration framework that reduced downtime from over 8 hours to just around 1 hour including the database upgrade from 11g to 12c/19c.

Today, Dennis manages and optimizes enterprise-grade Oracle environments, covering performance tuning, automation with Ansible, patch orchestration, and Oracle Forms & Reports.
