I’ve been working with databases since 2012, although I started with SQL Server and other engines, my career has been strongly centered on Oracle since the beginning. I work extensively with CDB/PDB multitenant architecture, Data Guard, RMAN, Flashback, performance tuning, high availability, and observability frameworks. I’ve supported environments across multiple industries—healthcare, insurance, energy, education, retail, and many others - leading and executing successful database projects across multiple countries.
I began my career as a data analyst in a software house and later transitioned into database administration at a consulting firm. Today, I’m a Senior Database Consultant at Pythian, working with large and complex Oracle environments running on on-premises infrastructure, Exadata, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC). My experience includes database migrations, upgrade planning, capacity planning, disaster recovery, automation, observability design, and building resilient, mission-critical architectures.
My main technical passions include proactive diagnostics, performance troubleshooting, and helping others build stable, high-performance Oracle environments.
I’m also part of the board of GUOB – Oracle Users Group Brazil, where I help organize events, drive educational initiatives, publish technical content, and contribute to the growth of the Oracle community in Latin America. I frequently share knowledge through presentations, articles, and hands-on demonstrations.
Outside of work, I enjoy writing technical blogs, mentoring new DBAs, participating in community discussions, and continuously learning the latest advancements in Oracle Database and cloud technologies.
