Ronald Vargas brings over 35 years of Oracle DBA expertise, with a career rooted in Costa Rica. He played a key role in founding the Oracle User Group in Costa Rica and co-founded user groups in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Panama. Ronald has been a frequent international speaker across Latin America and Spain, sharing his deep technical knowledge and leadership experience.

As a university professor for more than 12 years and a former Oracle University instructor for over a decade, he delivered more than 200 courses and was recognized among the top 15 instructors in Latin America by Oracle University. Highly active across social media platforms — including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Blogspot — Ronald continuously shares insights and provides webinars for educational institutions and professional organizations.

He served as Technology Director for LAOUC for three years and has been a key contributor to the organization of the annual Latin America Oracle User Group Tour since 2010.
