Maurice Naftalin is a Scotland-based developer and trainer with four decades of experience in the industry. He has worked with Java since JDK 1.0, and has written two books (Java Generics and Collections, co-authored with Philip Wadler and currently in revision for a second edition, and Mastering Lambdas). He maintains the Lambda FAQ (www.lambdafaq.org), speaks often at developer conferences, and is a JavaOne Rockstar. He also organises the well-established and popular Java unconference JAlba (http://jalba.scot).
