Kai Yu is a Distinguished Engineer, a member of the Dell Technical Leadership Community (TLC). Kai also serves the Oracle technology Subject Matter Expert(SME) role for the Dell Oracle Database solution program, a flagship solution for high performance Oracle databases and Oracle Applications with Dell infrastructure.Kai has over 29+ years experience in development of IT solutions ranging IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, Oracle database, virtualization/cloud solutions, as well as machine learning and business analytics.Kai has been an active figure in global IT and Oracle technology community. He co-founded the IOUG Cloud SIG and has been the IOUG Oracle RAC Database SIG president. He received the industry prestigious OAUG Innovator of the Year award in 2011 and the Oracle Excellence Awards Technologist of Year for Cloud Architect by Oracle magazine in 2012 and IOUG Spotlight award in 2016. Kai has been a frequent speaker at the major Oracle technology conferences with 200 technical presentations and published 35 technical articles in industry journals. He co-authored the Apress books "Expert on RAC 12c" in 2013, and " Machine Learning for Oracle Database Professionalsā€¯ in July 2021.
