Vinicius Grippa is a Percona Lead Database Engineer, Oracle ACE, and co-author of the book Learning MySQL. Vinicius has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and has worked with databases for 18 years. He has experience designing databases for mission-critical applications and has become a specialist in MySQL and MongoDB ecosystems in the last few years.

Working in the Support team, he has helped Percona customers with hundreds of cases featuring various scenarios and complexities. Vinicius is also active in the OS community, participating in virtual rooms like Slack, speaking at MeetUps, and presenting conferences in Europe, Asia, and North and South America.
