Rachel Barker is well-known in the Construction industry for enthusiastically contributing her knowledge of Oracle technologies to the user community. As the lines blur between developers and DBAs, she understands the difficulties developers face. With the goal of inspiring technical excellence, Rachel has led technical and product groups for Assets, BI/Analytics, Workflow, and Development in the CMiC Users Group and is a regular speaker at conferences. In recognition of her significant contributions to the community and commitment to excellence, she was recently bestowed with the prestigious Oracle ACE Pro award by Oracle Corporation.

As President at Impact Integrated Technology Inc. (IIT), she strives to deliver great user experiences that ensure users can focus on their work, not technology. In February 2023, she formed Impact BI, Inc., to provide development, DBA, and process engineering services within the construction community and mentor developers on Oracle technologies. Driven by a passion for solving business problems using innovative development techniques, she continuously focuses on learning and enjoys sharing her knowledge with the community.

Before forming IIT, she worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst and development team-of-one for a large construction company in Southern California. She is experienced with Oracle database, data modeling, application design, development, data analysis, reporting, AI/OML, data conversion, API development, various programming languages, business process design, workflow, and APEX application design. Rachel has a strong background in report design, programming, accounting, and construction accounting management since 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Accounting and resides near San Diego, California.
