I began my career as an IT consultant primarily using Oracle technologies, focusing on the middle layer and everything related to middleware. I gained extensive knowledge about clustering and high availability environments for both Java applications and Oracle Forms and Reports. I worked with multiple operating systems such as Oracle Linux, Solaris, CentOS, Red Hat, among others, and various Oracle technologies like OHS, OCI, and appliances. I also worked with virtualized environments and carried out numerous implementations from scratch using Oracle VM.
I developed a strong interest in security and learned a great deal about implementing SSL certificates, using both code signing and domain security.
For three years, I held infrastructure positions and even led technical teams. However, my true passion has always been application development. Since 2020, I have been fully dedicated to software development as a Senior Software Engineer, utilizing Java and Oracle APEX technologies.
On a personal note, I love martial arts and am currently a third dan black belt in taekwondo. I also enjoy video games, so every now and then I immerse myself in a good story until I finish the game.
I am a co-founder of the Java User Group of Costa Rica, which I started with a friend in 2020. In that same year, I created the blog oracle-max.com, where I regularly share documentation, videos, and tutorials about the world of Oracle, focusing on Middleware and Software Development.
