Mirela started working with Oracle Technologies back in 2000, as a PL/SQL and Oracle Forms&Reports developer. Then, in 2008, Mirela met APEX. Since then, she is an APEX enthusiasts who has some nostalgies for Oracle Forms. Mirela is very much involved in Oracle User Groups communities, trying to build a strong collaboration between OUGs. Mirela is the co-founder of the Romanian Oracle User Group (RoOUG), being the Vice President of RoOUG since the beginning. She is the president of the EOUC, a membership organization comprising a significant number of EMEA User Groups. She is instrumental in arranging multiple ACE and Oracle Community tours, in Romania and also around EMEA.
In 2021 she initiate the Mentor and Speaker Hub Program #mashprogram.
Mirela is the first person from Romania accepted in Oracle ACE Program.
